Tom enjoys community engaged design whereby creatively synthesizing the ideas of many individuals into group-inspired architecture. This process has influenced such projects as, Plainfield Library, Monadnock Covenant Church, Stonewall Farm Learning Center, Nelson Town Library, High Mowing School, The Learning Center at Concord Hospital, the Sullivan Town Hall and the Alumni Center for Keene State College. He is a 1974 graduate of the Catholic University of America, located in Washington, D.C.
A graduate of MIT, Charles consults on innovative energy-related projects such as the Sibley Horticultural Center in Georgia and the University of Colorado’s day-lit design for an undergraduate laboratory. He is Architectural Liaison to National Grid US, where he promotes green design. Mr. Michal is also licensed as a Professional Engineer and a Certified Lighting Designer. His work includes corporate interiors, adaptive re-use, custom homes and institutional projects such as Cedarcrest, the Keene Day Care Center, Home Healthcare Hospice and Community Services and Maplewood at Cheshire County.
