The multi-phased renovations to Elliot Hall began with a 15,000 square foot restoration of the original hospital, now a registered historical landmark.

The planning process for the remaining 55,000 square feet involved a Space Planning and Needs Assessment Study of the 20 Departments and assorted resident use groups. This process identified the primary need for a new North Entry off Appian Way.

Phase One of the departmental renovations is an 11,000 square foot total gut and rebuild.
