This dual project involves the renovation of the Cheshire County Nursing Home and the construction of a new assisted living wing containing 20 living units. The junction between the existing building and the new construction becomes an expanded and upgraded occupational / physical therapy and activity suite that services both residents from the new assisted living wing and the existing long term care nursing facility.

The new OT/PT suite includes the area’s only therapy pool. A steeply sloping existing site and the need to align new and old floor levels constrained building placement.
