Draftsperson (reports to Project Architects) This is a full-time position. |

Summary: |
|
|
|
Prepare CAD
drawings from design through production document phases. Coordinate CAD files
with consultants. Develop 3-D massing models using AutoCAD 2004 and ADT 2004
software. Increase proficiency in application of CAD tools through motivated
self-study. Manage CAD software and hardware, within a Windows based LAN,
including maintaining plotter and correct network path names. Maintain office
CAD standards, including blocks, details and layering systems. Instruct new
employees in standard office procedures related to CAD production.
Participate in team assignments as well as individually assigned tasks. |

Job
Qualifications: |
|
|
|
Bachelor
of Science degree in Architecture, Engineering or Design. MINIMUM THREE YEARS
EXPERIENCE in architectural drafting in an architectural office environment.
Experience with AutoCAD 2000 or higher required. Experience with Microsoft
Office software (Word and Excel) desirable. 3-D MODELING experience a plus. NETWORK MANAGEMENT, HARDWARE AND
ARCHITECTURAL SOFTWARE SETUP AND CONFIGURATION EXPERIENCE A PLUS.
Construction experience or knowledge desirable. Should be comfortable
participating in group problem solving and be a co-operative team player.
Must be self-motivated and able to complete assignments with little
supervision when required. |
